Speaking of radio play....

This was posted on Tia's blog following her appearance on Bob Harris' country show.......

hi
just tracked down your details after listening to you on the Radio tonight.
I was on my way to work in the car and I just really enjoyed listening to you are your easy going approach to life and your music.

Thanks and I can see me looking for an new CD tomorrow xx

There have been people at EVERY gig who've told Tia they heard her on Bob's show - Bob Harris has been wonderful embracing and supporting Tia and Tommy and their music as he has. Who knows what July's tour will bring!

In fact, it is not the forst time radio has led to someone contacting Tia unexpectedly as a result of what they have heard..... Just prior to the show at the Meadow House in Berwick in June 2005 commencing, Tia was called away to a phone call from Ireland. It emerged that someone had heard 'Lifelines' on Bob Harris' show that night, and had called to ask if they could buy a C.D - did they look on her website and find she was there? - I bet they got a surprise when they got Tia herself on the end of the phone! So, radio is a VERY powerful way of getting music heard by those who may never hear it otherwise! If that person in Ireland is reading this - drop us an email and let us know!
